Rick will be at the Coast Guard Innovation Expo at the Va. Beach convention center Nov 16th - Nov 20th. I will be pitching the Coast Guard's new shallow water boat, part of a 22 million dollar contract. I may be able to meet up and have dinner while I'm there.
I found out yesterday that after I did the video shoot for the Innovation Expo for the new boat, my public affairs office wants me to bring the new boat down to Norfolk to do a major media roll-out event. From what they (Public affairs) tell me, this is where they invite all the media, TV, radio, print; to the Coast Guard Station at Little Creek to show off the boat. Station Little Creek just received a new Coast Guard boat and being the smallest of the armed services, we create ways to keep the public interested so that hopefully the money keeps flowing.
